We are aware that it is an uncertain time with the Covid-19 virus and the situation is rapidly developing. Whilst it is still “business as usual” for us here at Saros we are also working hard behind the scenes to keep any disruption to a minimum, whilst ensuring everyone’s safety, both clients and members alike.
As the situation is constantly evolving, it may be that you wish change face to face sessions and run sessions remotely (online or via telephone) and we can assist with any changes to your current or future requirements.
Saros Research has already put preventative measures in place. We are already asking additional screening questions to all members who apply to take part in any research about recent travel history and contact with anyone that has visited high risk countries. In addition, we ask anyone already booked in to inform us if they start to feel unwell, no matter how last minute.
Due to the rising uncertainty, members may no longer feel confident in attending face to face research that they have been booked onto, in addition to the rate of self-isolation increasing day on day. Again, we have asked that they let us know as soon as possible if this is the case.
Many viewing facilities have assured us that they are putting measures in place to safeguard the health of staff and visitors, including full antibacterial clean-downs between sessions of all public areas, extra hand-washing, individually wrapped snacks, and many are offering discounted rates for streaming services etc.
Drop outs for both face to face research and remote sessions may be higher due to the unpredictable climate so it may be advisable to allow for this by either over recruitment or additional dates and times for replacements.
The whole team here at Saros is on hand to support your needs and as we all work remotely, there should be no change in our working practises. We will remain flexible and attentive to your needs as things continue to develop whilst following Government and industry guidelines.
